SONS...IF PEOPLE ASK...

How was she? They might ask you one day,
Tell them, I was just a woman
Who loved and was loved by many
And had a zest for life as well.

Don′t be afraid to tell I was a dreamer,
Wanted to fly through the skies like a bird,
Also tell my medicine was laughter,
And I was as mischievous as could be.

I love my God, family and friends;
Lacked understanding for injustice of man,
My heart went out for the poor children,
The solitude of old people gave me pain.

You can also tell I loved the trivial
As I didn′t have to use my wits or brain;
But didn′t ignore the kind or the celestial,
To be a good woman was my aim.

Would you please ask to be forgiven
If I offended anybody with my faults,
And to my friends and family, please give me,
A prayer and space in your hearts and souls.
